Love my work space

One week has passed by and I could easily spend one or two more over here just letting the days fly by. The weather has been amazing today and I feel more relaxed than I’ve been in years. Who needs a spa when you got a house in the Swedish archipelago. 😉

I actually did some online shopping today as well. Shampoo stuff. Did you know that it takes me about one hour every time I need to wash my hair? Being granny is not a walk in the park kids! 😉 I was thinking about doing a “hair routine” video where I’ walk you through the products I need to keep my hair all silver and shiny. Sounds like a plan?

“Kräftskiva” with the Linda Vista crew

Wow, I has such an amazing time yesterday! I returned to Stockholm from Muskö around 1 pm and then met up with my new collegaues from the salon Linda Vista at Nybrokajen in the middle of Stockholm (kind of a city marina). At 5.30 pm we were picked up by Linda, her husband Pär and their two children and started our boat trip cruising on the “Djurgårskanalen” (a canal going straight though one of the most beautiful places in Stockholm), passing by Lidingö (the Island where I grew up) and all the way to Danderyd. After about 45 min, we parked the boat right outside Linda’s and Pär’s house where dinner was waiting. And not just any dinner – a crayfish party!!! I’m totally obsessed with crayfish and it’s a huge thing here in Sweden, especially in August. During the evening we were entertained by a troubadour, took profile pictures for the website, did a quiz walk (which me and my quiz walk buddy totally won), and just chatted and laughed the night away.

I’m so happy to be a part of this amazing crew! It’s such a blessing to be able to have this much fun with your colleagues. Looking forward many more cozy and fun moments with Linda Vista! <3

Day trip to Nynäshamn

Today we took a trip with our speed boat to Nynäshamn. A small marina in the Swedish archipelago. Martin loves taking trips with the boat, the bouncing when we hit the waves however, not so popular. But when we reach our destination, all is forgotten and everything is super mega awesomesauce exciting! 😉
We jumped right into our favorite restaurant “Kroken”, however they changed the management since last time and the food was just awful! Such a disappointment… It will probably take a while until we visit there again.
To make up for the crappy food, we visit an ice cream hutt and got ourselves a huge frozen yoghurt instead! De-Li-Cious!
Now we’re back home just chillin on the porch. As usual. 😉 Me and C tried out a new PS4 game called “A Wolf Among Us” last night and it’s really good so we’ll probably get into that in a couple of hours. That’s actually one thing that not many people know about me, I LOVE video games!!

But now I’m just going to go back to do absolutely nothing… 😉

Water dog

Yesterday we took a walk down to the neighborhood “beach”. Well, we got sand and all although it’s flown over here from the Sahara desert. 😉  But we also got a bridge from where you can get into the water. This is where Martin has learned how to swim. He loves water even more than dog treats and balls. His favorite water activity is to fetch sticks that we throw into the water for him. I’m pretty sure he was a seal in another life…
